Jura J5-J6-J7-J9-J80-J85-J90 Ceramic Valve
The J5-J6-J7-J9-J80-J85-J90 Ceramic Valve connects to the
Heat Exchanger, Y-Shaped Outlet Valve and Cappuccino Spout.
The Ceramic Valve directs the flow of water to the coffee or steam spouts, depending on the function selected. Signals from the board inform the valve motor how many revolutions to complete. The separate fluid outlets are opened and closed through an internal gear system, which is activated by the valve motor. The gears activate micro-switches after a specific number of rotations to complete the function. The constant flow of water through the narrow fluid outlets causes mineral deposits to accumulate. When this occurs, the Ceramic Valve cannot switch to the correct fluid outlet, thus, causing coffee to dispense out of the cappuccino side instead of the coffee dispensing spouts and vice versa.
