The Brew Group is responsible for compacting the ground coffee after it exits the Grinder. Over time, the O-Rings and Gaskets inside the Brew Group dry, crack or swell, preventing the Brew Group from moving up and down fluidly. You may here a grinding noise, or that it is struggling to complete the brew cycle when the O-Rings and Gaskets need to be replaced.
